Jon Linchitz
Jon has a relentless passion for strength and conditioning, bringing both a high level of professionalism and an exceptional ability to connect with people into every session. He grew up as a three-sport athlete, became a Super League (elite league in the USA) rugby standout, and earned a bronze medal at the USA Track Cycling Elite Championship. Unfortunately, a tragic rugby accident left Jon paralyzed on the field for 30 minutes, ultimately ending his competitive career. He now channels that experience into coaching, using his knowledge to better his students. Specializing in sports performance and strength, Jon places a strong emphasis on proper movement mechanics, understanding firsthand the importance of reducing injury risk. He holds an MS in Education from LIU Post and certifications including NASM (CPT, SFS, CPR/AED) and StrongFirst (Kettlebell Instructor), reflecting both his expertise and commitment to excellence.
